Prepare for the DAT or OAT with Dr. Jim Romano, Professor Denis Barengolts, and the Romano Scientific teaching team through our live online Fall 2026 preparation course.
Dr. Romano has been helping students prepare for the DAT for more than 35 years through the DAT Destroyer and OAT Destroyer book series, online instruction, and classroom teaching.
Fall 2026 Online Schedule
Start Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026
End Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026
Class Days and Times
Sundays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Eastern
Wednesdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Eastern
Total Classes: 25 Live Online Sessions
Classes are conducted live online and are designed to strengthen understanding in Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Quantitative Reasoning.
Dr. Romano typically teaches the first 30–60 minutes of each class, focusing on high-yield concepts, strategy, and problem-solving approaches. Professor Denis Barengolts then continues the remaining portion of the lecture. Professor Barengolts has been teaching DAT students with Romano Scientific for more than 20 years.
Optional Monday Q and A Session
An additional optional Q and A session is available every Monday at 8:00 PM Eastern.
This free session allows students to ask questions about material already covered in class and review difficult concepts with the instructors.

Books are purchased separately from the course tuition and are required to attend the class.
Course Tuition
The total cost for the Fall 2026 online course is $2,500. The most current editions of the DAT Destroyer and Math Destroyer are required for DAT students. The most current editions of the OAT Destroyer and Math Destroyer are required for OAT students. Required books are not included in the course tuition.

This course is intended for students preparing for the DAT or OAT who want a structured, concept-based approach to preparation using the DAT Destroyer and OAT Destroyer materials.
Please note: Dr. Romano is expected to return to live in-person DAT and OAT instruction during the Winter 2027 course schedule. Additional information will be posted later this year.
