Dr. Jim Romano is the creator of the DAT Destroyer and OAT Destroyer series and has been preparing students for both the Dental Admission Test (DAT) and the Optometry Admission Test (OAT) since 1987 — nearly four decades of teaching experience.

Trained as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with a specialization in Oral Surgery, Dr. Romano ultimately followed his true passion — teaching and the science behind it — earning a PhD in Organic Chemistry and dedicating his career to preparing the next generation of dental and optometry students.

Dr. Romano earned his degrees from the University of Miami and New York University, holding a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with a specialization in Oral Surgery, combined with a PhD in Organic Chemistry.
